One blend. Three continents. A cup that earns its complexity.
Marine Layer is built around a simple but ambitious idea: take three of the world's great coffee-growing regions — one from South America, one from Africa, one from Southeast Asia — and find the exact roast point where they stop being separate and become something unified, layered, and genuinely hard to put down.
The Blend Story
Guadalupe, Huila, Colombia grounds the blend. Grown at 1,300–1,650 masl and fully washed, this high-altitude Excelso brings the structural backbone — a clean, refined cacao depth that holds everything together without competing for attention.
Limu Seka, Ethiopia adds the lift. At 1,900 masl in the Jimma zone's ancient arabica forests, smallholder farmers organized through Fahem General Trading deliver fully washed indigenous heirloom cultivars with that signature East African complexity — the black currant acidity that cuts through the blend's sweetness and gives Marine Layer its distinctive character.
Kintamani Highlands, Bali brings the depth. From the volcanic slopes of Mount Agung (1,200–1,600 masl), a full-natural lot dried on raised beds by farmers of the centuries-old Subak Abian cooperative adds molasses richness and a smoky-sweet body that wraps the whole cup together.
The result is a medium roast that drinks differently depending on how you brew it — rich and almost savory black, or beautifully rounded with cream. Either way, completely its own thing.

☕ Pro Tip: Marine Layer pulls an exceptional espresso — the molasses body and black currant brightness create a naturally sweet, complex shot that needs nothing added. For drip, use a 1:15 ratio to let the full three-origin complexity open up.
