From the heart of Brazil’s famed Mogiana region comes a coffee that embodies the country’s rich tradition of quality, scale, and refinement. Grown along the border of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, this full natural lot is the result of meticulous care by a network of small- to medium-sized producers working together through regional cooperatives.
Brazil’s Mogiana region is renowned for its rolling hills, volcanic soil, and ideal elevations between 900–1200 masl—all of which contribute to coffees known for their balance, sweetness, and approachability. While Brazil is the world’s largest coffee producer, this offering stands out not for its volume, but for the precision behind it. Harvested at peak ripeness, the cherries are carefully dried—either on patios or in mechanical driers—to a consistent 11% moisture level before being milled and graded as Fine Cup (FC), Strictly Soft (SS): Brazil’s highest cup quality designation.
Behind the scenes, traceability and quality control are rigorously maintained at the dry mill, ensuring each producer is paid based on the quality they deliver. This structure creates a clear incentive for continual improvement and sustainability, strengthening both the coffee and the community behind it.
Roasted to showcase its comforting and classic profile, this Brazilian lot is smooth and crowd-pleasing, with rich notes of milk chocolate, toasted almond, and a hint of dried fruit. It’s a staple—versatile, reliable, and deeply satisfying—perfect as a daily drinker or the foundation for your favorite brew method.
