COFFEE VARIETIES & MILLING PROCESS: Indigenous landraces and heirloom cultivars, fully washed and dried on raised beds
From the lush highlands of Limu Seka in Ethiopia’s Jimma Zone comes this beautifully balanced washed coffee—an offering that captures the elegance and depth of Ethiopia’s “western” terroirs. Grown by smallholder farmers and processed centrally by Fahem General Trading PLC, this coffee benefits from meticulous care at every stage. After harvest, cherries are depulped and fermented underwater for 12 hours, soaked again for clarity, and then slowly dried on raised beds to preserve sweetness and structure.
The result is a light, expressive cup with notes of blueberry, black tea, and cream, wrapped in a velvety body and clean finish. It’s a refined yet comforting expression of Ethiopian coffee, showcasing the harmony of fruit, florals, and balance that define Limu’s high-altitude terroir.
Beyond flavor, Fahem General Trading’s commitment extends into the community—supporting local schools, infrastructure, and farmer training—ensuring that the coffee’s positive impact reaches far beyond the cup. Ethiopia Limu Seka offers a taste of both place and purpose: bright, balanced, and unmistakably Ethiopian.
