At the Descamex facility in Veracruz, the beans are steamed and soaked to open their pores before being immersed in Ethyl Acetate (EA)—a compound naturally found in fruits like bananas and sugarcane. The EA bonds with the caffeine and draws it out, leaving behind the full-bodied flavor of Mexico’s finest coffee. Afterward, the beans are rinsed, dried, and re-bagged, ready to deliver a smooth, clean cup with zero harsh chemicals—just pure, delicious coffee without the buzz
